Sexuality Education

I also offer sexuality education to those who need to understand their bodies better, who want to learn more about how to please themselves or their partner(s), to understand how and when to have “the safer sex talk,” to know how to talk to their children about sex, how to keep from contracting an STI or unintentional pregnancy, or how to maximize their chances for pregnancy if having children is the goal, etc.
Sexuality is a healthy and normal part of life, and pleasure is not inherently bad or inappropriate. I offer a safe place for people from all walks of life and sexual backgrounds to explore their own sexual journey, with all the joys and challenges that entails. I believe that we are ALL normal, no matter our preferences and limitations.
Some possible topics we can discuss (if you don't see your concern included in the list below, just ask, I may be able to help or know where you can find help):
- Healthy sexual functioning ("What is 'normal'?")
- Sexual dysfunction (mental, physical, emotional, spiritual sources)
- Anatomy and physiology
- Impacts on sexuality as a result of aging, disease, injury
- Safe and safer sex
- Pregnancy and infertility
- Desire discrepancy between partners
- Low libido concerns
